Transformation and renovation of a historic building
The building consists of a partially excavated basement, a commercial ground floor with arcades, two floors comprising a total of five dwellings. The blind facade has been pierced with a large oriel window so that the adjoining kitchen can benefit from natural light. A few additional small openings ensuring good habitability of the bathrooms have also been drilled. Everything that could be preserved has been preserved: parquet floors, fireplaces, cupboards, joinery. The new elements, such as the letterboxes or certain cupboards, were designed and made in varnished birch.
