
Transformation of classrooms to hepia
The apparently simple program here provided for the grouping of several premises in order to create more spacious workshops adapted to the type of teaching.
One of the constraints was the need to carry out all of the work over the short summer vacation period.
The upgrading of lighting was also desired.
In view of the scale of the intervention and the quantity of surfaces impacted, it seemed relevant to conduct a global reflection on the type of coatings and materials used, adapting to the distinct architectures of the 3 buildings concerned.
The types of ceilings and lighting used and their implementation have been the subject of special consideration in order to improve in particular the acoustic and visual comfort of the spaces.
Their aesthetics match the character-defining elements of buildings, such as the metal facade of building A or the wooden joinery of building C, which thus seem to find their place.
